Official NHS figures show East and North Herts among worst for A&E waiting times

You are more likely to wait too long for emergency treatment in East Herts than most other regions in the country, according to official figures.

Latest NHS England stats show the number of patients at A&E in England seen within four hours has hit record low levels.

The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, which is home to the A&E at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, is among the worst, with just 77.2 per cent of patients seen within that time – nearly 20 per cent off the target of 95 per cent.
