As part of the Labour Party National Care for the NHS Campaign Day today, a demonstration and petition signing was held in Nottingham city centre. With video and pictures.
Members of the party set up near to the Brian Clough statue in King Street where members of the public signed a petition with this message;
‘Under the Tories the NHS and social care are underfunded and understaffed. Patients are waiting for hours in overcrowded A&Es and waiting lists have soared.
Join us in calling on Theresa May and Jeremy Hunt to give the NHS and social care the funding they need.’
