A London trust has been named as the preferred bidder for a £450m community services contract that has been criticised for not offering enough money to meet its service obligations.

Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group today revealed West London Trust will provide community services in the borough for 10 years from May 2019, pending approval by NHS England and NHS Improvement.

The trust, formerly called West London Mental Health Trust, is set to be the lead provider in a partnership including Central and North West London Foundation Trust and The Hillingdon Hospital FT, the CCG said.
