BDA General Secretary joins health union leaders in condemning the Government’s failed NHS privatisation experiment

In a joint letter to the Guardian published on 8th February , leaders of unions representing over one million health workers pointed out the major risks to the future of the NHS if the Government continue with their  programme of privatisation of our health service.

They highlight the worry of job insecurity that comes with outsourcing for dedicated health professionals and the danger of moving towards a US style system where income takes precedence over need in the provision of patient care.
