NHS IVF treatment to be cut permanently in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire

In 2017 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group ended funding for IVF treatment for all patients with the exception of cancer patients and men with a chronic viral infection. This would save the CCG £700,00 a year, whilst desperate parental hopefuls fall short of the system. Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG also made clear that they currently face a £192 million deficit.
