it is obvious that the NHS is under pressure and in response each area of the country has been asked to make some big decisions about what healthcare will be available to us in future and how it will be organised.

These plans will mean big changes to existing services and so the public should be involved in these decisions.

The government has asked local councilors and NHS commissioners to work on these huge plans (known as a Sustainability and Transformation Plan or STP).
