MPs have been assured that all 44 STPs (sustainability and transformation plans), will be published by Christmas, according to health minister David Mowat.
Department of Health ministers had been forced to defend STPs after MPs questioned their transparency and financial viability at a health questions debate in Parliament on Tuesday.
Conservative MP for Warrington South Mr Mowat said that 12 plans had already been published, adding that the remainder would come before the end of the year.
The announcement comes just days after the BMA announced that it had written to every English MP to clarify whether they had been consulted about their constituency’s STP.
The session saw health secretary Jeremy Hunt and his ministerial colleagues face a barrage of questions on the STPs during health questions in Parliament on Tuesday.
