December saw Harlow’s Princess Alexandra Hospital record the worst waiting times of any Accident and Emergency in the entirety of England.
Just under a third of people who attended the hospital’s A&E department had to wait more than four hours in December before being dealt with.
This is an improvement on the same period in 2016 when just over a third of patients were not seen within the target time in A&E.
Only 67.3 per cent of the patients who attended A&E at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in December were admitted, discharged, or transferred within four hours.
