Epsom and St Helier hospitals A&E at their worst in two years

Epsom and St Helier hospitals reported their worst A&E performance in more than two years last month – with one in 10 patients waiting more than four hours.

Just 90.3% of people waited less than four hours from arrival to admission, discharge or transfer in Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust’s A&Es in December.

This was its worst performance since the performance measure began to be recorded monthly in June 2015
