Protests regarding bed cuts, held in Derby city centre

Dozens of campaigners who say they are fighting to save the NHS have taken part in a protest outside Derby Council House on Tuesday evening.

They chanted “whose NHS? our NHS” and waived placards saying things like “stop the loss 535 hospital beds across Derbyshire”.

Derbyshire Save Our NHS had already delivered a petition to Derby City Council containing 2,846 Derby residents names and a further 1,333 names on an email petition.
